Finally, the cuisine at CELA’S is truly regional and "market-based". We focus strongly on the local foods of New England and find authentic Italian dishes through which to showcase them. In the fall and winter, our menu features more northern Italian and mountain dishes. In the summer, our menu veers to the south - allowing us to highlight local produce and the abundant and diverse summer seafood market.

The fact that this "nuovo" restaurant, in the heart of downtown Quincy at 1495 Hancock Street, could fast become a favorite dininq spot is based on the simple fact that Italian food is considered to be the most popular of all cuisine worldwide and that this new dining spot's offerings are simple delicioso. The menu consists of mouthwatering fare made authentically with the finest ingredients and spices. The result, there is something on the menu to tempt every palate; even the most discriminating gourmets. Expect your individualized dinner selection, chosen from an exciting menu that showcases impressive traditional entrees and presented in a modern style order format, to be served in an ambiance that speaks to genuine Italian-American hospitality.

Traditional "Primi" courses include, along with traditional soups, Shrimp Cela, Fritto Calamari and Lobster Mushroom Napolean to name just a few. Conventional entrees speak to Italian tradition as well and include Osso Buoco, Patata Gnocchi, Bianco Oppure Rosso Clam and several impressively prepared Carne, Pollo, Vitello and Pesce dishes all in equally authentic presentations.
